Practices I’ve been revisiting that have been doing amazing things for my sleep

I’ve recently been doing the following guided meditations after getting into bed and have been amazed at their ability to help me fall asleep more quickly, sleep more deeply throughout the night, and wake up feeling more rested.

Though the audio instructions recommend doing them in a modified lying down position with knees up, I’ve found that they work just as well in a normal lying down position. I recommended learning them and then performing them without the audio. When I do so, I usually fall asleep before making it all the way through the practice.

A beautiful story

  • This is a clip from the most popular TED talk of all time, which currently has 75 million views. I’ve watched it over a dozen times and it still makes me cry. I posted it several years ago but wanted to put it up again for new readers and those who may have missed it.
